Duke Digital VenturesDDV
A software studio in Atlanta

Focused software for people who work with money.

We build small, opinionated products for personal finance and financial-institution data — and run them for the long haul.

The studio

Duke Digital Ventures is run by its founder, who spent fifteen years selling enterprise software to banks, credit unions and specialty lenders, after an earlier career as a software engineer and product manager. The products here come from that vantage point: problems customers worked around, built into tools that ought to exist.

The studio's model is deliberately small. Each product is built to be useful on its own, priced plainly, and maintained for years rather than flipped.

Public data, done properlyWhere the raw data is free but painful, the product is making it clean, current and comparable.
Small surface, deep on purposeOne job per product. Fewer features, each one finished.
Run for the long haulIndependent, profitable on its own terms, and still here next year.
